We have now partnered with Yellowknife Urban Farm who has taken over our microgreen growing operation. These will be locally grown microgreens right here on site at Bush Order but under the name Yellowknife Urban Farm. These young seedlings often contain more nutrients than their mature counterparts, making them an easy addition to any meal. Good on salads, sandwiches, wraps or just as a snack. Hardier microgreens like pea shoots and sunflower shoots are excellent for stir-fries.
Microgreen quantity and availability will vary until we hone in our production schedule and environment.
Description
Microgreens are new seedlings of edible vegetables and produce, harvested within 14 days of germination. They are appealing because most microgreen varieties contain a nutritional punch, often containing higher nutrient levels than more mature vegetable greens.
