We have now partnered with Yellowknife Urban Farm who has taken over our microgreen growing operation. These will be locally grown microgreens right here on site at Bush Order but under the name Yellowknife Urban Farm. These young seedlings often contain more nutrients than their mature counterparts, making them an easy addition to any meal. Good on salads, sandwiches, wraps or just as a snack. Hardier microgreens like pea shoots and sunflower shoots are excellent for stir-fries.
Description
Microgreens are young greens harvested just after the plants’ true leaves have emerged. They are considered a superfood due to their high concentration of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Microgreens are used for visual, flavour and texture enhancement, and add sweetness and spiciness to foods.
