Private Sourdough Bread Workshop for 6

You and five (5) friends can learn the secrets of sourdough bread in this 3-hour in-home workshop with baker Kyle Thomas.

Whether you are brand new to sourdough or just need some help getting your sourdough bread baking under control, this workshop is for you. In a demo-style, Kyle will walk through all elements of sourdough baking from starting and feeding a sourdough culture, to mixing ingredients in a mixer or through a stretch-and-fold (no-knead) method, all the way to proofing and baking beautiful bread in your home-oven.

Throughout the course, Kyle will discuss in a conversational style what is happening to the dough and bread along the way, touching on the fermentation and how it affects the digestibility of the bread.

At the end of the course, each participant will leave with their own sourdough starter, Rustic White Country Loaf recipe, and shaped and proofing sourdough loaf. *Participants will be asked to bring their own mixing bowl and tea towel.
